Morgan Ford is a Research Project Manager with the Institute for Health Research at Kaiser Permanente Colorado, where she assists with proposal development, community engagement, data collection, and compliance oversight for studies on substance use safety and health care for people recently released from prison. Previously, at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, Morgan directed committees by HHS to identify strategies to better support families of young children and address the US opioid epidemic. Morgan grew up in Denver and enjoys listening to 1980s/1990s music, reading about American history, and exploring the US Southwest. She joined CPR’s board in 2023 in support of our mission to advance child and family wellbeing through research.
