The Safe Access for Victims’ Economic Security (SAVES) Center website is now live! The SAVES Center operates under a 5-year, $11.2 million grant awarded by the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) to the Colorado Division of Child Support Services. The SAVES Center will enhance safety in the delivery of child support and parenting time services by providing training, technical assistance and evaluation services to 13 SAVES demonstration projects funded by OCSE (12 states and one tribe). The SAVES Center will also conduct needed research, make policy recommendations, and create resources and training for child support professionals nationwide to ensure that survivors of domestic violence receive child support and parenting time services that promote their safety and economic security. The project will lead to the creation of a national clearinghouse of promising practices pertaining to safety and the conduct and dissemination of research on survivors’ experiences, barriers, and needs.
